Hatch Magazine 2016 Fly Fishing Photo Contest

Washington State Pink Salmon

This year's run of Pink Salmon clogged the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, migrating and spawning in their millions. Fishermen had the time of their lives catching these powerful little salmon on flies and just about everything else. On this day we slip beneath the surface to take in a quiet moment with this school of Pinks stacked up below the tributary where they will spawn.
