This photo of one of my fishing partners was taken on the banks of one of my favourite places to fish in the whole world. After flogging this remote Northwestern Ontario brook trout lake with all we could muster, we took a break on the shore to stretch our legs and take in the incredible view. The fishing was poor that day, but this photograph reminds me that even a bad day of fly fishing beats a good day at work!
