Exhausted by a car ride, a forest hike, and from stalking elusive carp shadows, my daughter slept through the entire ordeal of casting to and capturing of this Columbia river carp. Taken in shallow, warm, and murky water, this fish had the energy to take me into my backing and did it's best to wrap me around every nearby tree stump. Dad won.
