Barney's River Beauty

On a sunny Saturday morning, I hopped into my car and headed down to Barney's River, a favored fishing destination of mine. When I got there, I immediately began casting out my line, and no sooner had I done so when this beauty bit on the fly. I stripped it in quickly, fearing I may lose it, glad when I didn't. I held the glittering fish in front of my face, still tethered onto the line, admiring how the sun played against it's shimmering speckled skin. It's the satisfactory feeling I get when I fish there that always keeps me coming back to Barney's, and I greatly anticipate my next adventure there. -Ralph Mercanti NS
