The opportunity to learn in real-time from accomplished anglers is priceless. On this particular trip I observed John Montana stick it out in conditions that would have (previously) sent me packing. I had lost faith that we would see any carp with the high winds and resulting water turbidity, but watching John--who never seems to give up-- hook and land several large common carp in these conditions made me a believer. Two weeks later I landed an 18lb carp in nearly identical conditions.
