Landing a wild winter steelhead is like holding lightning in your hands, if only for a few fleeting seconds. The moment you let go of that big tail, you quickly forget about the endless sheets of rain, the cold fingers and the countless hours of unanswered hope. It’s then you remember the process is as big as the product in this game, and having the privilege of holding a wild winter steelhead is definitely worth the wait.
